Volunteers have flocked to the outskirts of Auckland to start cleaning up one of the city's dirtiest waterways.
They're worried about the effects of developments and industry on the environment and are working to regenerate the polluted Papakura Stream and its surroundings.
By the end of the project, it's expected kilometers of the waterway will be restored, and thousands of trees will be planted.
