Victoria has uncovered a new Covid-19 variant not connected to any other cases from the current outbreak.
Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton says it's the Delta variant which originated in India.
The cases involve members of a family who travelled from Victoria for a camping holiday in Jervis Bay - which is on the south coast of New South Wales.
Professor Sutton has called the Delta variant one of "significant concern".
The family visited several places in Jervis Bay, including a camp ground inside a national park, a supermarket, an antiques shop and cafes.
There are 350 locations of interest linked to the latest outbreak in Melbourne, which is in its second week of lockdown.
