The Far North District Council has agreed to halt progress on establishing a Significant Natural Area - but it won't stop a hikoi of more than a thousand people converging on the council office tomorrow.
Work will stop until the policy is finalised - following massive opposition from hapū and iwi in the Te Tai Tokerau.
