Fiji's government has been urged to activate the Disaster Management Committee to stop more people dying from the coronavirus.
A new daily record 636 cases and six more deaths were announced by the health authorities yesterday.
Civil society groups say the dire situation should compel Fiji's leaders to consider using the national humanitarian system.
