There are now active Covid-19 cases in three Australian states and Victoria is poised to enter its fifth lockdown tonight.
Australian media are reporting the lockdown will kick in from midnight local time, in an attempt to curb the growing Covid-19 outbreak in the state.
Mask rules have been tightened in response, which is now linked to 16 cases.
