Officials at a Northland marina are reviewing Covid-19 protocols for boaties arriving from the Pacific, as dozens head home during the cyclone season.
Tai Tokerau Border Control has raised concerns that yachts heading to the Bay of Islands could bring the Delta variant with them, and not enough is being done to keep Northland safe.
Those running the setup say they have had no issues yet, but they will be making sure their Delta defences are watertight.
