The family at the centre of a homicide in Timaru had only left MIQ a week ago after arriving in the country from South Africa.
Three young children were found dead after police were called to a property in the suburb of Parkside late last night.
It is understood at least one of the parents worked as a doctor at nearby Timaru hospital - just 200 metres away from the house.
Late this afternoon, a hearse carrying all three bodies, left the home.
