Barry Smart is one of the lucky ones who nabbed a spot in MIQ yesterday. He travelled to Queensland in July, when the Trans-Tasman bubble was open - to visit a friend and do a road trip with his daughter - but got stuck there after the bubble closed.
He's been trying to get home ever since.
