After decades of tirelessly campaigning, people with disabilities are being recognised with their own ministry.
The government has moved to establish a new agency, and a separate Accessibility Governance Board.
It will also introduce new legislation to improve access for disabled people - promising to prioritise disabled voices at all levels of decision-making.
