Australia's Test cricket captain Tim Paine has resigned in the last hour after it emerged he's been involved in a sexting scandal.
Paine was investigated for sending a former Cricket Tasmania employee an explicit photo and lewd messages four years ago.
He says while no breach was found, he was aware the issue was about to become public, so he's chosen to step down as captain.
