There are concerns top Queenstown hotels may have to lower their gold star standards because there aren't enough cleaners to go around.
The boss of the Hilton says as tourist numbers bounce back, some visitors could be sleeping in unclean rooms because their simply are not enough staff to service them.
And some hotels have already been forced to ditch daily cleans.
