Hospital care is on the move for potentially thousands of people in Hutt Valley - as the hospital's main building prepares to close.
It's been deemed an earthquake risk. It houses critical services like maternity, the children's ward, coronary care and the special care unit for newborns - all of which is now under review.
Services will now need to go elsewhere - meaning it has implications for the entire Wellington region.
