It's been months of planning, and at times seemed like it would never happen. But today Jacinda Ardern sat down with the US President in the Oval Office - just the third time a New Zealand Prime Minister has visited in two decades.
This trip has been a constant reminder the Covid pandemic is far from over, causing disruption from start to finish.
