The bill is in for Christchurch's stadium and it comes with a promise it will not go up further.
The project has already faced a $150 million budget blowout. But Christchurch City Council says lead contractors have agreed to a fixed price of $683 million.
Most residents, given the change to have their say, were in favour regardless of the cost.
