The traffic light Covid Protection Framework will end at midnight.
That means the only place people have to wear a mask is health and aged care facilities - including pharmacies.
Covid positive people will need to continue isolating for seven days but household contacts no longer need to. And all vaccine mandates end in a fortnight, on September 26.
