A man who's life was saved by a bystander after a heart-attack says it's a miracle he's alive.
He's one of the 11 percent of New Zealanders who survive a cardiac arrest every year. This month Hato Hone St John launched a campaign that trained over 11,000 people to perform CPR in case of an incident in the community.
For every minute without the chest compressions, the chances of survival fall by 10 to 15 percent in some cases.
