The National Party has confirmed its long awaited fiscal plan, pledging to spend and borrow less than Labour, through a range of savings and prioritisations.
It includes the billions of dollars needed for the party's tax plan, debt forecasts and a return to surplus in the same time frame as promised by Labour.
The package details extra spending for thousands of extra prisoners each year, and $2 billion less spent on benefit increases.
