Consumer NZ says some motorists are losing hundreds of dollars a year due to their insurance policies, as premiums skyrocket.
It carried out a survey which found they've increased up to 38 percent in two years, so it's encouraging people to shop around to save some cash.
Checkpoint wanted to find out if people are aware they might be missing out.
