The 20 year old won NZ's first ever world champs title on Monday, taking out the 400m freestyle gold with a personal best and New Zealand record time of 3:59.44.
Fairweather also won silver in the 200 metre freestyle.
She's got one more race to go, the 800 metres freestyle, the heat is later tonight.
