One of the world's biggest tennis stars has received a lifeline from international sport's top court.
Former world number one Simona Halep is free to play again after her doping ban was significantly reduced.
Halep copped a four year ban in September last year after testing positive for a banned substance.
However, in a decision released overnight, the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled she was not guilty of intentional doping and reduced her ban to nine months.
