Uber drivers and union workers have protested outside the Court of Appeal in Wellington today, as the huge rideshare company again argued that drivers are not employees.
In 2022, the Employment Court determined that four Uber drivers were not independent contractors, and were being wrongfully denied employment rights and protections.
