Dunedin Councillor breaches code of conduct with race-based comments

The Dunedin City Council has upheld the findings of a code of conduct complaint investigation - into race-based comments made by councillor Lee Vandervis. It found Mr Vandervis breached the code by using inflammatory language that diminished the standing of mana whenua - and by failing to attend Te Pae Māori meetings.
