Company develops work benefits card

An Auckland company has developed what's essentially a debit card that can be loaded with money and given to workers so they can choose what benefits them the most and they can buy them without having to claim reinbursements. They can also be tailored to block what the boss might considers off limits spending, for example booze, or gambling. The card initially just offered healthcare benefits - but in a cost of living crisis workers are increasingly keen on other "everyday" perks too, Extraordinary co founder and founder Steven Zinsli spoke to Lisa Owen.
