School ditches traditional bell for rock music

A school north of Auckland is hitting a sour note with some of its neighbours after ditching its traditional school bell in favour of playing a bit of rock and roll and other classics to signal the start and end of class and breaks. It's sparked two opposing peititions one to keep it, and one to make the music stop. Te Kura O Puhinui school principal Karney Dawson spoke to Lisa Owen.
