Demand for back to school financial assistance to grow - charity

A children's charity expects demand for back to school financial assistance to out strip previous years with spiralling costs and growing unemployment. Many parents are struggling with expenses that come with the new school year, uniform costs, stationery, electronic devices, sports and school trips. Last year, Variety helped pay more than 1700 school uniform claims; costing in excess of $300,000. Along with more than 370 claims for stationery and 220 claims for electronic devices. CEO Susan Glasgow spoke to Lisa Owen.
