Prime Minister to spend Waitangi Day in Akaroa

"We want to get on with our own business" - that's the call from iwi chairs, as they meet in Waitangi today. Their hui coincided with the Prime Minister announcing he'll be spending Waitangi in the South Island on Thursday - Governor General Dame Cindy Kiro will join him there. Waitangi commemorations in the North kicked off this week with the long-awaited restoration and re-opening of Te Tii marae at a dawn service this morning.
