PM and David Seymour batting off talk of a rift

Christopher Luxon and David Seymour insist everything is rosy, despite trading barbs over a letter the ACT leader sent to police advocating for Philip Polkinghorne during the investigation into his wife's death. The Prime Minister and his soon-to-be Deputy sat down last night for a wee chat - and are batting off any talk of a rift. Meanwhile, Mr Seymour has earned himself a rebuke from the Speaker for trying to drive a classic Land Rover up the steps of Parliament - but has avoided being sent to the Privileges Committee.
