Trump administration shift in foreign policy towards Ukraine

At a defence summit in Brussels, the US defence secretary told European nations they must provide the overwhelming share of funding for the country which was invaded by Russia nearly three years ago. He also ruled out Ukraine becoming a NATO member. The move has been backed by President Trump who said he has spoken with Russian President Vladimir Putin and agreed to negotiate a ceasefire in Ukraine immediately.
