Trade Minister speaks on US import tariffs

The government is shopping for business elsewhere as New Zealand exporters face three months in tariff limbo land. President Trump yesterday backed down suspending what he calls reciprocal tariffs for three months, while talks get underway. But New Zealand exporters still face a base tariff of 10 percent and China's been stung with a super size import tax of 145 percent for daring to retialiate. Trade Minister Todd McClay spoke to Lisa Owen.
