Cost of living key issue on Australian election campaign trail

Three days out from the Australian election and the cost of living continues to be a key issue on the campaign trail. New figures released today show annual inflation is at 2.4 percent which is slightly higher than expected for the latest quarter. Australia's Treasurer said the figures are within the target range for inflation - but that has not stopped the coalition holding firm to its line that the Labor government has been disastrous for the Australian economy.
