Treasury defends staff accepting gifts from banks

New papers show Treasury officials have accepted more than 200 gifts in the past year mostly from the major banks. The freebies include ninety-eight free lunches, sixty free dinners, as well as tickets for rugby, golf, theatre and wine-tasting events.
