The Rotorua Mayor is holding a reception tonight, to celebrate the life of the principal tour guide at the famous Pink and White Terraces, south east of Rotorua; The Maori Anglican Bishop in Bay of Plenty, Ngarahu Katene, will be among about a hundred and 50 people, expected to attend centennial celebrations tomorrow at St Matthew's church north west of Taupo; The Whanganui Maori activist, Ken Mair, says he's heading into a celebrity boxing match against the former mayor, Micheal Laws, with plenty of confidence.
