New Zealand apple experts are working with growers in Himachal Pradesh to improve production of the region's apple trees. Plant and Food Research scientist Jim Walker is there and says the New Zealanders will be sharing their knowledge about irrigation, tree management and pest control. He expects production on the project's best orchards will double or even treble in three years.
