Australian vet and dairy farmer, Jakob Malmo says farmers there have learned to live with Mycoplasma Bovis.
He says the message he tries to get through to farmers there is that if they haven't got mycoplasma "you don't want it so don't buy in cows.
"But if you must buy in cows you must test the herd of origin to ensure it is not infected. ...I wouldn't consider bringing in cows without doing that."
