Mike Peterson is the Ravensdown Agricultural Communicator of the Year for 2018 – the 32nd year the title has been awarded by the NZ Guild of Agricultural Journalists and Communicators.
Mike is New Zealand's Special Agricultural Trade Envoy, a role he's held for five years.
The job entails travelling away from his Hawkes Bay cattle and lamb finishing farm about five times a year to talk primary trade issues in overseas markets.
