A Rangitikei farming couple's swinging open the farm gate and the door to their BnB to welcome an artist who will be taking up the inaugural Gullies Art Residency.
Auckland's Andrew McLeod will be based at The Gullies farm, near Marton, for eight weeks early next year.
Farm owners Richard and Laura Morrison say they want to foster more positive and diverse conversations around farming, arts, and the environment.
They have plans to offer another residency to an emerging artist and will make a studio they are building on their farm available, free of charge, to Rangitikei artists.
