As part of Country Life's 25 years on the airwaves we've been digging out a few great stories from years gone by.
Back in 2011 producer Susan Murray had the chance to go pig hunting for two days with farmer Steve Knudsen on his aptly named Vertigo Station near Whangamomona in Taranaki.
Pig hunting competitions are seen as a good community fundraiser and they're popular just before lambing as they reduce pig numbers and stop the pests preying on newborn lambs.
Steve Knudsen sold that farm a few years later and started farming near Auckland.
At present he's in Australia driving bulldozers , although he says it's been so wet in Queensland and northern New South Wales he's spent a bit of time sitting around.
