The Men from the Maniototo

Naseby is an isolated gold mining and farming town in the heart of the Maniototo region of Central Otago. Cosmo Kentish-Barnes is there to meet local raconteurs Ross McMillian, Des Styles and Laurie Inder at the bar of the Ancient Briton Hotel, where a similar recording was done in 1947 by the peacetime mobile unit of the New Zealand Broadcasting Service.
