The iconic Lim Chhour food court and supermarket on Auckland's Karangahape Road, is known for its delicious Asian food offerings. For the creative community it's also a place of familiarity and comfort either a pre-gig meal with friends or spending time alone.

This week, artist Jefferson Chen, also known as Goodspace, is paying homage to Lim Chhour's legacy and the hardworking vendors by launching his debut album, Let's Talk About Death, with a multi-media installation Vendor

On now until the 4th of October - he's posing as a vendor - his album as the menu and the songs are the dishes.

Goodspace spoke to Perlina Lau of Culture 101 about how he defines garage pop and the inspiration behind the installation.
