The Indian cinema scene is thriving in Aotearoa, with nearly 300 Indian movies screened in New Zealand over just the past two years.
And It's not just New Zealand, over in Australia the film Pushpa 2: The Rule just smashed the record for highest-ever opening day collection in Indian cinema history.
Pritesh Raniga is the proprietor of Indian distribution company Forum Films and has been bringing Indian films to Kiwi audiences since 2008.
The company has distributed 124 Indian titles to Kiwi cinemas over the past two years alone and his distribution network extends to Australia, Fiji and Papua New Guinea, mostly focusing on Bollywood and Punjabi films.
