Appropriately, this week’s Regional Wrap takes us to somewhere named after the Christmas city itself.
Originally a small independent town, Bethlehem, just out of Tauranga, has been somewhat absorbed by its big-city neighbour over the years.
Nicola Welten is an expressionist artist, known for her colourful semi abstract paintings.
She works from her home studio in Bethlehem, Aotearoa.
Her paintings are currently showing as part of a group exhibition at the Orb Gallery pop-up in Pōneke, Wellington.
