One in four Americans report chemical sensitivity, with nearly half of this number diagnosed as having Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, or MCS. For this group, everyday fragrances like bath bombs and scented candles are an assault on the senses; cloying, migraine-inducing scents, which are the start of other snowballing symptoms.
