Dental Association wants review of children's dental care
The dental association is calling for a review of children's dental care, saying there are too many kids waiting in pain in the public system. Thousands of children are waiting months with serious, often painful conditions, to see specialists or to have surgery. They included a Whangarei toddler with a condition that made her teeth susceptible to decay who was sent home with rotten teeth and an abscess.
