How Lord of the Rings has affected NZ actors

Work is already underway in Auckland on "pre-production" of Amazon's billion dollar plus Lord of the Rings television series, but what has changed in the years since Peter Jackson's movies began production almost 25 years ago? Actor Bruce Hopkins who played Gamling in the Lord of The Rings, was vocal in standing up for the rights of actors during production of those movies and runs Action Actors agency in Auckland.
