California still shaking after 2 powerful quakes over weekend
To the US now where two powerful earthquakes hit California in two days - with residents bracing themselves for more aftershocks to come. On Saturday our time a 7.1 magnitude quake rocked the state just 34 hours after the region was jolted by a magnitude 6.4 quake. Officials have responded to reports of injuries and fires. The quakes have left many residents without power with more than a hundred staying in temporary shelters. According to the US Geological survey, seismologists have recorded nearly 5000 quakes since Friday with the region suffering an average of one aftershock per minute since Saturday's quake.
