Cancer Society says new radiation machines are just first step

Cancer care could overwhelm the entire health system, if the wrong plans are put in place. That's from the Cancer Society, who are welcoming the announcement the government will fund 12 new radiation machines, including ones in the Hawke's Bay, Taranaki and Northland. But it's medical director, Dr Chris Jackson told our producer Lydia Batham it's just a step in the right direction.
