Harita Davies completes the Sri Chinmoy 3100 race in New York

Last week we told you about a New Zealand woman tackling the longest certified foot race in the world. In 51 days, 9 hours and 20 minutes Harita Davies ran 3,100 miles - just shy of 5000 kilometres - all around a roughly half mile block in the New York borough of Queens. She was the only woman to take part in the Sri Chinmoy thirty one hundred race this year - and is just the second new zealander to do so. I spoke to Harita just after she finished the official race - although she was still on the run, completing a few extra laps to clock up 5000 kilometres.
