With just about a year out from the country's next election, the Labour Party and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern have taken quite a hit in the polls. Labour was the only party to lose support in the latest Newshub-Reid Research poll dropping 9.2 percent to 41.6 percent. Most of that support went to National whose support rose 6.5 percent to 43.9 percent. And in the preferred prime minister poll, support for Jacinda Ardern fell 10.6 percent to 38.4 percent - although she's still well ahead of Simon Bridges who now sits at 6.7 percent after a slight rise. Political commentator Chris Trotter tells us about what this all might mean.
