Brent Thomas talks about travel and the coronavirus
A lack of knowledge about how the novel coronavirus will be contained, is leading to uncertainty. The World Health Organisation haven't declared it a pandemic yet - but some are warning that could soon be on the cards. Right now, there's been no cases of the novel coronavirus in New Zealand - although there have been 12 confirmed cases in Australia. Foreign nationals travelling from or through China are currently not allowed into the country - and Air New Zealand's suspended it's Auckland Shanghai route until the 29th March. So, should we be worried about booking future travel? Brent Thomas from House of Travel talked to Indira Stewart.
