Things are getting dire in Kaikohe with water restrictions

Kaikohe residents say things are getting dire in the Northland town, as level four water restrictions remain in place. Some have resorted to bathing in rivers, while others have been waiting days to do their washing as a full load. Our reporter Katie Doyle caught up with one resident Layd, who says her tank is running dangerously low.
